NOKC has been presented with a great opportunity to improve the quality of our complex.
The Oklahoma City City Council and staff are working on project lists for the City of Oklahoma City’s 2017 bond election proposal. The project list will include streets, bridges, sidewalks, parks, drainage and, most importantly, parks. The projects would be funded by issuing general obligation (GO) bonds, which can only be authorized by voters. We need your help to make sure that Oklahoma City Parks is considered a high priority for the City Council.
By giving OKC Parks a priority in the bond, North Oklahoma City Soccer Club could directly benefit from it in terms of park improvements, These improvements will help NOKC to provide an even better environment for you and your children to enjoy the game of soccer.

Jake Hemphill, Mark Cagley, & Ricky Trussell are starting a 3v3 soccer league in Edmond @ Key Health Fitness Gym on June 6. The first session will be 4 weeks long. This will give everyone 8 guaranteed games, with each team playing 2 games per night. The cost of the league per team is going to be $250.00 along with a $5 ref fee each game. Max roster size will be 7 which will enable teams to have plenty of kids to choose from due to holiday vacations etc.
3v3 soccer greatly increases the number of touches on the ball, more attacking 1v1, quicker decision making, and a lot of goals being scored keeping all kids happy. This is a great way to keep their skills fresh and touching the ball during the offseason.
Our sign up will be live the end of next week on our Facebook page or with our email address. Please keep an eye out for the launch; we can’t wait for all the kids to enjoy the 3v3 season.
Please let us know if we can answer any questions at [email protected].
Please help spread the word so that everyone is aware of this opportunity.
Energy FC announced today a groundbreaking partnership with Oklahoma Football Club (OFC) that allows the two organizations to work together to create an aspirational program that provides opportunities for players in Oklahoma to continue the best in training with Oklahoma City’s professional soccer team. Through this partnership players in Oklahoma will now have a direct developmental path that takes them from youth academy soccer to professional soccer all within one organization.
OFC was established through the affiliation of the competitive soccer programs of the Edmond Soccer Club and North Oklahoma City Soccer Club. The merger of these competitive programs created the most successful soccer club in the state of Oklahoma. The objective of OFC is to provide a home for youth competitive players to play soccer at their highest potential level by allowing them the opportunity to improve their technical ability, tactical knowledge, physical capabilities, and psychological awareness through training and game conditions.
“Energy FC is pleased to align with OFC to expand training and development opportunities for our youth, in a united effort to continue growing the game in Oklahoma,” said Energy FC co-owner Tim McLaughlin. “We put great value in partnerships like this and look forward to bringing our full resources to bear and fostering an environment where organizations can work together for the greater good of the game.”
“OFC is excited to partner with the Energy to create an aspirational model for our players,” said OFC Co-Coaching Director Stephen Phillips. “We are always looking to be innovative and take the game in Oklahoma to higher levels and so a partnership with the Energy, an organization looking to do the same makes perfect sense.”
This announcement is on the heels of another significant partnership with the Oklahoma Soccer Association where Energy FC guides coaching education, player development and community growth initiatives at all levels. The affiliation with OFC adds an additional layer of providing resources to guide the competitive players in Oklahoma.
“This is just another step in building out the soccer pyramid for players in our state,” said Energy FC General Manager Jason Hawkins. “We want to do our part to help ensure that player’s in our state on all levels are granted the opportunities they deserve.”
In addition to the partnerships with OSA and OFC, Energy FC has added depth within the soccer community through initiatives like the addition of community leagues and a U23 team. The community leagues are run in partnership with the Police Athletic League and the Parks and Recreation Department, while the U23 team provides local college-aged players the opportunity to play competitive soccer during the summer months while maintaining their eligibility.
Additional details like the debut of a logo, additional coaching and player clinics and creation of positions within the organization will follow in the months to come.
